Big Rock is an immaculately detailed 3 bedroom steel pavilion hovering above the steep escarpments of the valley. The philosophy of the project was built on the relationship of three main elements: a lightly suspended steel pavilion, a solid, sculptural wall protecting the courtyard and the rolling slopes of the valley. Delicacy of the forest is reflected in delicacy of the structure and peaceful horizontality of the building harmonises with its surroundings.
